Subscription Policy Details

• Subscription Management

  What does HOLD, ACTIVATE, PAUSE my subscription mean?

  Active: any subscription that you are actively studying.

  On Hold: a FlextTime subscription on the Dashboard that has been purchased and is waiting to be activated.

  To immediately and manually activate your On Hold FlexTime subscription, click on Activate.

  Pause: a FlexTime [NCBAHM™] or FlexTime California [CALE] subscription that you can manually pause on the dashboard for up to 1 year. All FlexTime subscriptions can be paused one time.

  * College subscriptions can be paused and resumed indefinitely.

  To Pause, go to the Dashboard, click on Pause under Active Subscriptions.

  To manually Resume before the end of your Pause, go to the Dashboard, click on Resume under Active Subscriptions, and begin studying.

  NOTE: From the date of purchase, you have 18 months to activate a subscription that is on hold.

• Rebate Policy

  How does the rebate and free extension work with FlexTime subcriptions?

  NATIONAL (NCBAHM™)

  If you PASS and have purchased 61 days to 91 days days of any of our NCBAHM™ modules (Acupuncture, Biomedicine, Foundations, Herbology) you are eligible for a rebate under the following terms.

  1. For a 61+ days subscription, receive a $20 rebate.
  2. For a 91+ days subscription, receive a $25 rebate

  To qualify the following must occur.

  1. Photo-Email to office@tcmtests.com a copy of your pass letter for the NCBAHM™ Acupuncture, Biomedicine, Foundations, and/or Herbology exam.
  2. Fill out our satisfaction survey which will be emailed to you after we receive your pass letter.
  3. We will mail you via USPS a $20 or $25 check per module passed.
  4. Institutional subscriptions are ineligible for rebates.

  If you DID NOT PASS and purchased 61 days to 91 days of NCBAHM™ Acupuncture, Biomedicine, Foundations, and/or Herbology, board exam modules you are eligible for a FREE extension.

  To qualify the following must occur.

  1. Photo-Email to office@tcmtests.com a copy of your FAIL letter for the NCBAHM™ Acupuncture, Biomedicine, Foundations, and/or Herbology exam.
  2. Fill out our satisfaction survey which will be emailed to you after we receive your fail letter.
  3. A free extension equivalent to the original days purchased of between 61 to 91 days is available per NCBAHM module purchased.
  4. Institutional subscriptions are ineligible for free extensions.

  CALIFORNIA (CALE)

  If you PASS and purchased 31 days to 91 days of a CALE board exam subscription you are eligible for rebate under the following terms.

  1. For a 31+ days subscription, receive a $35 rebate.
  2. For a 61+ days subscription, receive a $80 rebate.
  3. For a 91+ days subscription, receive a $100 rebate

  To qualify the following must occur.

  1. Photo-Email to office@tcmtests.com a copy of your pass letter for the CALE exam.
  2. Fill out our satisfaction survey which will be emailed to you after we receive your pass letter.
  3. We will mail you via USPS a check for $35, $80 or $100 depending on the amount of time originally purchased.
  4. Institutional subscriptions are ineligible for rebates.

  If you DID NOT PASS and purchased 31 days to 91 days of the CALE board exam subscription you are eligible for a FREE extension equivalant to the orginal time purchased.

  To qualify the following must occur.

  1. Photo-Email to office@tcmtests.com a copy of your FAIL letter for the CALE exam.
  2. Fill out our satisfaction survey which will be emailed to you after we receive your fail letter.
  3. A free extension equivalent to the original days purchased between 31 to 91 days is available per CALE subcription purchased.
  4. Institutional subscriptions are ineligible for free extensions.

  NOTE: After you notify us of your board results, you qualify for either a rebate or a free extension, but not both, per qualifying subscription. You have one year from the date of purchase to claim your rebate or free extension.

  NOTE: If you purchased two consecutive months of a single National [NCBAHM™] board module from 3/6/2023 to 10/2/2023, you qualify for a $35 rebate on passing the exam or free two month extension if you did not pass.

  NOTE: If you purchased a one month California [CALE] subscription from 3/6/2022 to 10/2/2023, you qualify for a $35 rebate on passing the exam or free one month extension if you did not pass.

  NOTE: If you purchased a National [NCBAHM™] board modular subscription of two months or more from 1/1/2022 to 3/6/2023, the rebate is $25 per exam passed. A free extension equivalent to the original time purchased is available for the National [NCBAHM™] if you did not pass.

  NOTE: If you purchased a California [CALE] subscription from 1/1/2022 to 3/6/2023, you qualify for a $25 rebate for the one-month subscription, a $50 rebate for the two-month subscription, and a $100 rebate for the three-month subscription. A free extension equivalent to the original time purchased is available for the California [CALE] subscription if you did not pass.

• Refund Policy

  What is TCMtests.com refund policy?

  When you subscribe you actively agree with our terms of service regarding our refund policy. Your date of agreement for each subscription is recorded in our database.

  Refunds are provided when the following are verified:

  1. Our online tests DO NOT WORK on your computer.
  2. AND you contact us within 24 hours of your initial activation of any module within the purchased bundle.

  The refund is applied to the entire bundle.

• Institutional Subscriptions

  What is an Institutional Subscription?

  TCMtests.com was started in 1993 and since then we have assisted over tens of thousands of students prepare for their boards. Nearly 100% of accredited acupuncture programs in the United States have had students subscribe to TCMtests.com. Moreover, students studying acupuncture in Canada, China, Great Britain, Ireland, Korea, Taiwan, and Switzerland have subscribed to TCMtests.com.

  TCMtests, LLC owns and operates TCMtests.com. We are here to assists AOM colleges by offering their students a proven approach to board preparation at discounted, institutional prices. Some colleges use TCMtests.com to verify student study various areas of knowledge. Some colleges use TCMtests.com to verify the students' preparedness for clinical rotations and/or senior year prep time for boards. Colleges can now enhance and add a new board prep course to your current curriculum. As a college, you may choose to make the discounted subscription to TCMtests.com as part of your tuition, part of the book fee, or as an extra cost.

  Subscription Terms

  • No board library subscriptions are available
  • College subscriptions are available to libraries or to an individual college graduating class
  • For board and college class subscriptions, all students per academic class year need to be enrolled
  • Institutional subscriptions are customizable for length of time
  • Institutional Subscriptions are ineligible for rebates or free duplicate extensions

  Customized Subscriptions

  • Choose individual National [NCBAHM™] modules as needed (acupuncture, foom, biomed, or herbs) or the California [CALE] four module subscription or choose our College subscription.
  • Customized subscription periods
  • Customized prices
  • Choose individual start dates for each National [NCBAHM™] module. Or choose the start date for the California [CALE] four module subscription or the College subscription.
